Besy Norelia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy clothes for children and adults; and small electronics, such as flashlights and mini speakers. This will strengthen the inventory of her general store.

Besy Norelia's story

Besy is married and has two minor children who are 15 and 11 years old. (In a loan published in 2018 it was erroneously stated that her children were grown.)

Besy works selling bicycle repair parts, and has a general store with various items of clothing and home goods. She also sells food such as atoles [a traditional hot beverage made from corn] and fast foods.

Currently the businesses to which she is giving priority are the general store and the sale of foods. She learned these jobs with the help of her mother 17 years ago. Besy recalls that in her general store she started selling small electronics for the home, clothes and cosmetics products. Over time she has further diversified the products she offers to her customers. Her children help her in her businesses when they have free time.

Besy is seeking a loan in order to have financial resources to stock the inventory of one of her businesses. She will buy clothes for children and adults; and small electronics, such as flashlights and mini speakers. This will strengthen the inventory of her general store.

With the investment she hopes to attract new customers and generate more income to confront financial problems that could arise in her businesses. Besy's dreams are to open another branch, to have better financial growth, and to meet the basic needs of her family.
