Junior Leonel's story

Junior Leonel and his family live in Portoviejo, a city affected by an earthquake on the 16th of April, 2016 and now by the Covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in vegetable production, legumes and tropical fruit for domestic consumption.

Junior Lionel is a trader of various products such as various clothes for men and women. He makes fast food such as hamburgers and a la carte dishes. He carries out home deliveries.

He is now increasing his dairy sales which he delivers to people’s homes and he carries out rounds through various areas selling them. He leaves them on credit and charges weekly.

At the beginning, the social lockdown left him without work because of fear of infection and various restrictions that stopped them from going out to sell. He is now currently tending to customers with bio security protocols.

This loan is to buy t-shirts, trousers, pyjamas, jeans and a variety of meats, chickens and dairy products.

His dream is to have his own place to set up a restaurant and that his sales continue to increase.
