Na Tau 51 Group's story

The woman who stands first from the far right in the picture is Linh. She is a That ethnic lady and lives with 6 family members in a remote village in Dien Bien province, a border province in the Northwest of Vietnam.

Like the other people in villages, Linh and her husband work hard in the rice fields to make money to cover their family life. Linh's family faces many difficulties in life, especially the lack of capital to invest in husbandry because where they live is remote.

Since Linh has known about the Anh Chi Em program, she can easily get a small loan along with knowledge about cultivation and livestock. Recently, she requested her ninth loan from the program to buy a cow to raise and sell later. She hopes this investment will go well so that she has a more comfortable life.

Linh thanks Kiva lenders and the Anh Chi Em program, which helped her access capital to develop economically. She believes that in the near future, she will have a more comfortable life with a stable economy.
