Elia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy pigs, their feed, and to grow onions.

Elia's story

Elia is 38 years old. She has three children. She lives in a rural village with her family. On a daily basis, she takes care of the livestock and agriculture. These businesses are the sources of income for the family.

Convinced of the need to increase her income, Elia joined Vahatra to take out loans. She has gradually expanded her business. Her income has improved and she has been able to better provide for the family necessities. She was also able to deposit money in savings. The previous loan helped her in the pig farming. She is asking for the support of the lenders for the next loan. She will buy pigs to fatten and feed them. She will also use some of the loan money into the cultivation of onions. She supplies the local market with her products.

She hopes to be financially autonomous.
