A loan helped to pay for ground filler to cover the mud around her house.

Ruos's story

Ruos, age 43, lives with her family in Angkor Borei District, Takeo Province. She operates a small convenience store at her home where she offers many types of products such as grocery goods, snack foods, sweets, powders, canned foods, noodles, and miscellaneous household items to the local people in her community. Her husband cultivates rice and raises poultry to cover their family’s needs. His work involves preparing the soil, planting, maintaining the crops, fertilizing, and harvesting. After 10 months, the crops can be harvested.

Due to limited resources, Ruos is applying for a loan of 8,000,000 KHR in order to pay for ground filler to cover the mud around her house. With access to ground filler, she will be able to provide her family with a good environment and fresh air, which will protect them from illnesses and create good living conditions.

In the future, Ruos plans to renovate her house and purchase more land for farming. She believes that she can achieve a better standard of living through hard work and perseverance.
