Las Esperanzas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock her inventory and improve her offerings to her customers buying lubricants and tires.

Las Esperanzas Group's story

Meet the entrepreneurs of Las Esperanzas communal bank with Pro Mujer in Jinotepe, Nicaragua. The clients earn a living selling lubricants, cosmetics, air fresheners and clothing amongst others.

Damaris (seated wearing a stripped blouse and white shorts) is one of the featured clients. She is 57 years old, responsible, honest and lots of desire to work. She has two daughters and together with her husband she earns a living selling lubricant products. Thanks to her work one of her daughters has graduated in Graphic Arts and the other is in her 1st year of International Relations.
