Sheyla Mariley's story

Sheyla Mariley is 22 years old, maintains a civil union relationship, has one 2-year-old son, she is a member of the CNH program. They live in Portoviejo, a city affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016 and now by the covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in production of vegetables, legumes and tropical fruits for domestic consumption.

Her husband sells icy refreshments on a tricycle. They live in their in-laws' home. The social isolation, at first, left her husband without work due to the fear of contagion and several restrictions that prevented him from going out to sell, nevertheless, he is currently back in business following the bio security protocols.

Due to the economic situation that her family is going through, Sheyla Mariley has decided to start a business selling clothes for women, men and children at reasonable prices; she thinks that with this income she will be able to help her family. She will begin selling on credit to her neighbors, friends and family.

This credit is for buying pajamas, t-shirts, pants, dresses, etc. Sheyla Mariley´s dream is to have a healthy family, own a house and that her business gets bigger.
