Ufunuo Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

Ufunuo Group's story

Madame Eudoxie is a client of the Hekima IMF and treasurer of the village group Ufunuo. She is married, age 49 and mother of three children who are all in school. Her spouse is a nurse.

She sells clothing. She started this business three years ago with startup funds received from her husband. Later, she joined the Hekima program to support her business and has continued to grow it. With this new loan, she will stock up on shirts and pants, which will supplement her initial stock. The challenge for her business is linked to a lack of customers and hassle from government officials.

She would like for her children to continue to attend school, to feed her family and to develop her business. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support given to unbanked business owners in the context of the global COVID-19 crisis. The photo is only of the group leader because of COVID-19 social distancing measures.
