Marlene Florisdalba's story

Marlene Florisdalba, 50, is married and has five adult children. Her husband is a bricklayer and they live in the canton of Jaramijo which is known as fisherman’s cove.

Marlene Florisdalba is a woman who works hard to earn an honest income and so she decided to establish a store in her house where she offers a variety of basic needs items. But due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic her business and sales diminished and customers who used to visit frequently no longer did so for fear of contagion. But despite her situation she continued her efforts to keep her business afloat.

This loan will be used to buy groceries, beverages, cleaning products, etc. Her dream is to continue improving her business.
