Las Praderas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to apply manure and crop the plantation to improve the quality of her cacao. She wants to give a better service and product to her customers.

Las Praderas Group's story

Las Praderas is a communal bank formed by 8 members and led by Lucila, who is the president and representative of the group. They are very committed to getting ahead. In the picture appears the board of directors; there are only 3 members due to the pandemic. They are representing the group and they feel very happy to continue together and supporting each other despite the circumstances.

Lucila is 36 years old. She is a kind, responsible, respectful and charismatic woman. She has 3 children for whom she makes an effort every day, 2 daughters, ages 8 and 12, and a young boy of 6 months old. They are her inspiration to keep getting ahead in life.

She has worked for over 5 years in agriculture along with her life partner. She cultivates cacao, yucca and other fruits depending on the season. She is looking for a Kiva loan to invest in her plot by applying manure and to crop her plants to improve the quality of her cacao. She wants to give a good service and product to satisfy her customers.

In the future, she would like to buy a small plot to build her house and give her children a better future.
