Las Encantadoras De Manantay Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to outfit and arrange her boats to continue transporting people, and also buy materials to be able to assemble one.

Las Encantadoras De Manantay Group's story

The communal bank LAS ENCANTADORAS DE MANANTAY is in its fourth loan cycle. It includes ten members. In the photograph, due to the pandemic, there are only three members of the group, who are the board of directors (president, treasurer, and secretary).

Rosa is the president of the communal bank. She is very committed to the group members and is ready to support them. She is a single mother of four children, three boys and a little girl, ages 17, 13, 10, and 4 years. They are her inspiration and motivation to continue getting ahead. That is why Rosa considers herself an enterprising person with desire to continue making progress.

She has worked for five years providing water transportation. She has her boats and requests a Kiva loan to invest in outfitting and arranging them to continue transporting people. Also, she will buy materials to be able to assemble one. Also, Rosa works selling water, and with this, has better income.
