Margaret's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a biodigester and use biogas, a renewable energy for milk pasteurization.

Margaret's story

Margaret's parents bought the farm she is working on a long time ago. They were farmers all their life and taught Margaret and her brothers to look after it and improve the field crop because agriculture is what makes the world alive.

Margaret knows manure is polluting the planet because of the inadequate waste management and this is why she wants to invest in a Sistema.bio biodigester. This will allow her to transform the manure from 8 cows into renewable clean energy (biogas) and an organic fertilizer called biol.

Margaret will use biogas for corn production and during the pasteurization process. She will also apply the organic fertilizer in the forage for animals instead of chemical fertilizers taking care of the soil, the animals and the production.

This loan represents 82% of the price of the biodigester; the remaining part is paid directly by Margaret.
