Twitezimbere Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more avocados, mangos, cabbages and passion fruit.

Twitezimbere Cb Group's story

Alphonsine is a 48-year old mother of eight children ages 7 to 25. Her husband is a construction worker, and for the past seven years, she has been selling fruits and vegetables.

Alphonsine is the leader of the group called Twitezimbere Cb, which in English means “Let's develop ourselves." Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Alphonsine will use her loan to buy more avocados, mangos, cabbages and passion fruit to sell in her community to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to buy some livestock.

She is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members, but was able to photograph Alphonsine as a representative of the group.
