Mikeno Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 25 bags of charcoal, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Mikeno Group's story

Mrs. Josephine is a client of Hekima MFI and the president of the village group "MIKENO". She is married, 42 years old and mother of 7 children, 6 who are in school, one who is autonomous. Her partner is a merchant.

She sells charcoals. She started this business 10 years ago with the start-up funds received from her IGA. Later, she involved the Hekima program to support her business, during which she gradually evolved. With this new loan, she will buy 25 bags of charcoal, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is the lack of good quality goods.

She would like her children to continue studying and she would also like to buy a plot of land.

Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support provided to owners of non-bankable businesses in this context of the global covid-19 crisis. The photo only shows the leader of the group due to Covid-19, in compliance with social distancing measures.
