02_Missiras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy food supplies and some crates of chicks.

02_Missiras Group's story

Since its foundation in December 2010, this group has been made up of women who are very dynamic and show solidarity; they are primarily active in trade and livestock fattening.
Aminata, 54, shown in the photo, is married and has six children. She represents the group. She has been active in trade for years and has a good mastery of this sector. At the same time, she also raises poultry. She is the chairwoman of the banc villageois and takes on the full responsibility of her role.
With her new loan, she plans to buy food products wholesale which she will then sell retail. With the rest of the loan she plans to buy chicks which she will raise and then resell when they have reached maturity. The rest of the loan will also go towards buying chicken feed. The income earned will be saved up in the banc villageois and also used to help her husband with the family expenses.
