A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during Covid-19.

Darkem's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Darkem. She is thirty-six years old and married with two sons and one daughter. Darkem runs a business of selling coconuts and her husband is an entrepreneur. One of her children is still in school.

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their family has been the implementation of school from home which uses an online system. This has made it difficult for their child to access course materials and to send assignments to the teacher.

She has applied for a loan of 2,200,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during Covid-19. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Darkem is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children, improving their living conditions and creating a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.
