Maria Raquel's story

Maria and her family live in Santa Ana, a beautiful valley with corn and rice crops, cattle, and cuisine with a variety of traditional dishes such as peanut-based soups, stuffed banana leaves, etc. The area also has fresh-water beaches.

Maria works doing manicure in her customer's houses and uses the opportunity to offer Avon catalog products ( beauty products, makeup, perfumes, accessories, etc.) and products from La Union La Gran Cadena S.A. Unigranca (car accessories, cellphones, computers, airpods, piggy banks, earphones, cameras, cigarettes, kitchen, personal care, exercise, home, men products, humidifiers, games, toys, massagers, pets, women products, speakers, weights, smartwatches, tv box, videogames, wifi, and many other products at the best prices. She works three days a week, two to three hours per day. She leaves her products on credit and collects payments weekly.

The social isolation, in the beginning, caused her to stop working for fear of contagion, because of several restrictions. But currently, she is implementing biosecurity protocols.

Maria will use the loan to buy cosmetics and other items. Her dream is to have a spa, and for her family to be very healthy.
