San Valentín Group's story

San Valentín is the communal bank made up of 14 members and is led by Yoliza, who is the president and group representative. They are very committed to continuing to succeed. Only the three member board of directors appears in the photo; due to the pandemic they are the representatives of the group and feel very content to continue working together and supporting one another in spite of the circumstances that they are going through. Present are the president, secretary, and treasurer.

Victor is the treasurer of the communal bank and in the photo is the first person seen with the blue polo. He is 54 years old and he and his wife have three children who are his motivation and inspiration to continue succeeding. He has spent more than 25 years working in agriculture, growing cacao and other fruits depending on the season. Additionally, he sells clothing with his wife. They both support one another to continue improving their finances.

At this time Victor is requesting a loan to purchase more merchandise for the business and maintain his parcel of land with fertilizer, herbicides, and payment for labor to provide high quality cacao. As additional work Victor works on other parcels of land as an assistant, which supplements his income for the well-being of his children. He has a goal to purchase a plot of land so his children can live in the city of Ayacucho and can study for good careers to achieve their dreams.
