Kuña Guapa Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy assorted clothing and the basic ingredients to make chipas [Paraguayan cheese bread].

Kuña Guapa Group's story

Twenty two women came together and decided to form this committee to help their families and be able to provide them with better living conditions than their own. They are also part of the poverty elimination program, fighting to overcome their circumstances of poverty.

One of them is Zunilda. She is a hardworking and very determined person. She sells clothing and also makes chipas [cheese bread], a typical Paraguayan food that is eaten year-round. She helps her husband with the household income this way, and they are able to provide their two children a better quality of life.

She is requesting this loan to buy assorted clothing and also the basic ingredients to make chipas so that she can continue with her sales.

Please note: There is just one person in the photograph, but this is a group loan. A group picture was not possible in an effort to avoid gathering people together due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
