Abisunganye Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more maize and sorghum.

Abisunganye Cb Group's story

Chantal is a 43-year-old widowed mother of eight children who are aged between 14 and 30 years old. For the past thirteen years she has been selling foodstuffs.

She is the leader of the group called Abisunganye CB, which in English means “togetherness”. Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Chantal will use her loan to buy more maize and sorghum to sell in her community and to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide for the family and also increase her savings culture.

Chantal is thankful for your support.

"Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members. The photograph is of Chantal, the group representative".
