Abakundubumwe Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more tomatoes, green peas, cabbages, and eggplants.

Abakundubumwe Cb Group's story

Marie Louise is a 41-year-old mother of two children who are 15 and 17 years old. Her husband is a farmer. For the past 15 years, she has been selling vegetables.

Marie Louise is the leader of the group called Abakundubumwe CB Group, which in English means “People who love unity.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Marie Louise will use her loan to buy more tomatoes, green peas, cabbages, and eggplants to sell in her community and to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide for the family and also provide school fees to the children.

Marie Louise is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members. The photograph is of Marie Louise, the group representative.
