Dufashanye Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more beans, rice, spices, cooking oil and maize flour.

Dufashanye Cb Group's story

Fortunee is a 49-year-old mother of six children who are aged 7 to 26 years old. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past 10 years, she has owned a grocery store.

Fortunee is the leader of the group called Dufashanye Cb, which in English means “Helping each other" Group. Members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Fortunee will use her portion of the loan to buy more beans, rice, spices, cooking oil and maize flour to sell within her community, to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide school fees to her children. She is thankful for your support.

"Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members, but was able to photograph one representative".
