A loan helped to pay for ground filler to cover the mud around his house.

Nhon's story

Nhon, age 51, is married and lives with his family in the area of Kampot province. Being a responsible father, he works hard every day to generate income so that he can cover his daily costs and send his children to school. He earns income by raising pigs and after three or four months, he sold to the market to earn income. With his hard effort, Nhon can earn approximately USD 7 per day, which will have to cover expenses for daily meals, clothes, medicine, and other necessary needs.

Because of a shortage in his finances, he has applied a loan in the amount of KHR 8,000,000 to pay for ground filler to cover the mud around his house. With this loan support, he can pay for the ground filling and provide his family members with a good environment, fresh air, protecting them from illness and creating good living conditions.

In the future, he aims to renovate his old house and purchase more land for agriculture purpose. He believes that, through his hard work and perseverance, he will be able to attain a better standard of living someday.
