Lavdije's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to add one more cow to her herd and to buy fodder for her cows, as it is cheaper in the summer season.

Lavdije's story

Lavdije is a 58-year-old rural woman who lives with her husband and her two teenage sons in a village near the city of Lushnja. Her husband works as a night guard at a nearby gas station, while her oldest son works seasonally as a waiter in a coastal area near their city.

Agriculture is the main business activity for Lavdije's family. They mainly plant grain on the land to make bread for the family, and corn or fodder for their animals. They used to have three cows, from which they would sell raw milk and other dairy products, but unfortunately, one of the cows died.

Lavdije wants to buy another cow, as she is very satisfied with the income generated from their dairy sales. Also, because it is cheaper to buy fodder in the summer season than the rest of the year, she wants to buy enough fodder for her animals for the entire year.

Lavdije thanks you all for the support and opportunity given to her and others in need of Kiva loans.
