Tae's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy new ike and tutua for her tapa making business.
Tae is a tapa maker and designer. She is mother to her teenage son, and wife to a sailor. Her husband still sails, so it is only her and their son who live at their home. She joins a group of women in her neighborhood and they spend every Saturday making tapas for family and commercial reasons. She also uses her designing skills as another source of income for her and her son. Some other women do not have the skills of designing, and decided to hire Tae to design their tapas for them. When her tapas are ready, she designs and then exports them to some trusted customers overseas. She is only interested in selling her tapas overseas where she earns a good amount of money from them. She needs to renew her ike and tutua (equipment used for softening the hard mulberry), so she applied for a loan to implement her needs for her business.
