Nokidiga Elisabeth's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 10 bales of yarn, some dyes, and a loom and to save money for taking care of her family.

Nokidiga Elisabeth's story

Nokidiga Elisabeth is the mother of five children of whom three are attending school. And she has two grandchildren to support. For twenty years, she has been a weaver of top-quality traditional 'pagnes' [the colorful wax cloth of western Africa] in an outlying district of the capital.

She is on her 7th loan cycle at YIKRI and does indeed pay back her loans. She is requesting a new loan to purchase 10 bales of yarn, some dyes, and a loom in order to increase her output of traditional ‘pagne’ and to satisfy customer demands.

She plans to use her earnings to reinvest in her business and to save money for taking care of her family.
