Noong Het 33 Group's story

Meet Ngoan in the disbursement of the Anh Chi Em program, she is 41 years old and is a Thai ethnic minority lady. Unlucky for Ngoan's family is her child with congenital anemia. Because of this, Ngoan always works hard to have enough money to let her child periodically go to hospital.

Like other villagers in her village, Ngoan creates income by growing rice, vegetables, but doesn't stop there! She also raises duck, chicken and pigs. But income from agriculture is unstable as a result of their old traditional technique and disease. That's why, since she found out about the Anh Chi Em program, she has been interested in its loan and agricultural training and counseling, which have actually affected favorably her farming and husbandry. This is the ninth time she has taken out a loan from the program after she successfully repaid the previous loans. This loan will be used to buy piglets to expand her pig farming.

Ngoan hopes that with hard work, experience and technical support from the Anh Chi Em program, this pig farming will succeed and bring high profits. The money collected from this investment is really necessary and has a great meaning with her family.

She dreams that her child will have a healthy and happy life. Ngoan is the representative of the Noong Het 33 group. In the picture, she stands first from the right. In order to protect each others to Covid-19 pandemic, the members of group had to wear masks and keep the distance when taking photo.
