Kolotita's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for the exporting of her mats and taovala and also purchase enough pandanus for her weaving business.

Kolotita's story

Kolotita runs a weaving business while being a mother to three children. She and her family live in Ha'apai, which is one of the main islands of Tongatapu. Her husband is a farmer and can also do some fishing, not for commercial but for family food only.

It has been ten years now since she started her business, and it is starting to accelerate and generate more income for her family. She weaves on her own, and she also manages to hire a group of women to weave for her. With this method, she can also have spare time for other family responsibilities and not only that, but she produces more mats and taovala to be selling out overseas.

Kolotita plans on using this loan money of hers to buy pandanus and also pay for the exporting of her mats and taovala. She has trusted customers overseas, and she is ready to send them ten mats and six taovala as soon as possible.

To educate her children for a brighter future is her vision, and she will hold on to her vision.
