Tolianga's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy pandanus for her weaving and also use some of the money to help with fixing their veranda.

Tolianga's story

This is Tolianga. She is 55 years old, and she is a mother to her two sons, both of whom currently attend university life.

Tolianga is a weaver, and for more than 15 years, she has been running this business to provide for her family. Her husband just got a job but before that, their life was so difficult due to financial shortages.

She weaves ta'ovala and mats and then sells them to earn an income. Sometimes when no one tends to buy her ta'ovala, she has no other choice but to decrease the ta'ovala's price so the buyers will buy.

Now there is an improvement in the quality of her family's life, and Tolianga still manages to run her business to continue supporting her family.

She applied for this loan to buy pandanus for her weaving and also to cover some of the expenses for fixing their veranda.
