Dúo Un Amor Verdadero Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy and sell clay griddles.

Dúo Un Amor Verdadero Group's story

Maria Angelina and Juana are this duo. Maria Angelina works selling clay griddles, that are used in homes to cook corn tortillas. She sells them in different sizes, to meet the preference and needs of her customers. She sells them outside the market in her community, and also in her home, where her customers seek her out when she is not at the market.

Maria Angelina inherited this business from her parents. Her business has been a blessing for her six children and her husband. Maria Angelina is an admirable woman. She also works with her children in the fields, raising animals and farming.

She is grateful to the Kiva investors and to FAPE because she has been receiving support for many years. This has been very beneficial to their lives. She is requesting this loan because she needs to buy more clay griddles, and she needs to buy them in quantity to receive a better price.
