A loan helped to purchase supplies to make cheese.

Familia De Pazña Group's story

Celza, age 21, had a very difficult childhood. She started working, out of necessity, at the age of seven because her parents were in poor health. This motivated her to better herself and get ahead.

Eventually, Celza found a common-law husband and had a child four years ago. She sells cheese, a business she has been operating since she was a child. She learned the business from her father and her siblings in order to generate income for her family.

Celza will use the proceeds of the loan for which she is applying to purchase and sell cheese in the area because producers sell their products at this time so they can hire workers to harvest potatoes and beans. This will allow Celza to boost her business with a profit margin, which will help her and her children in this business which is her main source of livelihood.

Only three people appear in the photograph because they have to maintain social distance due to the pandemic. Marta, the treasurer of the bank, is on the left in a blue sweater. Dora, the president, is in the center in a black and gray sweater. On the right is Celza, the recording secretary, in a blue, multi-colored sweater with a figure in the middle.
