El Orizonte Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sacks of corn, potatoes, cassava, and containers of oil.

El Orizonte Group's story

Susana Raquel is 30 years old, in a relationship, and a mother of two children (ages 4 and 6). For the past four years, she has been selling street food every day between the hours of 1:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. so that she can obtain more customers and earn additional income to help her family. She did not have the opportunity to secure a job.

Susana is requesting a loan to buy sacks of corn, potatoes, cassava, and containers of oil. With the income she earns, she will invest in utensils and a cooktop stove for making pupusas so that she can expand her business and offer a variety of products. As a result, her children will have a better education and a better future.

Susana Raquel, Inmar Aníbal, and Carla María make up the solidarity group “El Orizonte”. They are enterprising people who support one another, seek to grow their businesses, and want to provide a better quality of life for their families.
