Lorine's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more chicken and fish to sell.

Lorine's story

Lorine is 25 years old. She is living together with her partner and with one child who is nine years old. Lorine went to school and stopped in 7th grade. She sells frozen goods such as chicken and fish. Her partner gave her money to start the business and her mother taught her how to sell. She transports goods to her business site by the means of a car. Lorine is proud of her business because it helps to sustain her family.

To help maintain her business, she applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia and KIVA Field Partner. She plans to use the loan to buy more chicken and fish to sell to her good clients. Her dreams for the future are to become a big business woman and give her children a better living condition. She wishes to say thanks.
