Tutu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more fish to sell.

Tutu's story

Tutu is 35 years old, a married mother with 4 children, three of whom are still in school, and all live at home.

Tutu attended school up to 8th grade. She is a strong business woman who has been selling fish for the past 3 years. Her father gave her money to start the business, and her sister taught her knowledge about selling. She sells Monday through Saturday, 11 hours.

Tutu applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva field partner, to help her to buy more fish to sell, in order to further build her business. She likes her business because it gives her fast profits and also helps her family.

In the future, Tutu wants to build houses and continue her children's education. She wishes to say thanks to BRAC and Kiva.
