Okibatkhon's story

Okibatkhon is 61 years old, married, and has a son. She has a secondary education. She is hardworking, goal-oriented, and resourceful. She is well familiar with agricultural techniques and knows how to use resources for their intended purpose. She has been raising livestock since 1990, and this is her family's main source of income. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach to business, she was able to develop her farm up to 2 cows. There are 0.3 hectares of irrigated land on which she grows potatoes.
In order to further develop her farm, she applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) to buy dairy cows to increase sales of organic milk and income from livestock breeding. She plans to invest the income from the loan in the further development of her farm.
