Mele's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to export their crops overseas and also cover some of the expenses needed for the plantation.

Mele's story

Mele is a 63 years old mother of four grown ups, and a wife of a farmer. She and her husband run a plantation business and earn their own money. They have been running this business for more than twenty years, and their family benefits from this business.

Now that their children have grown up, Mele and her husband still manage to run their farm and earn their own income. In their plantation, they grow diverse types of crops such as yam, taro, kumara and cassava. Mele and her husband only export yam overseas and they earn good money from it.

They have hire a group of men when they need help with their plantation. Their next plan is to build a fence for their home, and it can only happen if they export crops overseas to earn enough money for it. Mele has applied for a loan to export their crops overseas and to also cover some of their expenses for their plantation.

Mele is thankful for this opportunity and your support.
