Sarni Sumarni's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Sarni Sumarni. She is 36 years old and widowed, with one daughter and one son. Sarni Sumarni runs a food stall.

One of her children is still in school. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their family is the implementation of school from home that uses an online system. This made it difficult for her child to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

She has applied for a loan of 3,600,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during Covid-19. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Sarni Sumarni is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her family and wants to improve the living conditions and create a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.
