La Victoria Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase different flavors of ice cream to sell.

La Victoria Group's story

The 15 women who are members of this group joined together to be able to offer better living conditions for themselves and their loved ones. They are also part of the poverty elimination program where everyone strives to overcome and get ahead.

Mirta is one of the members; she is a single mother of 2 children. She is a sacrificing person who, with great effort, earns a living and searches for a way to give her children everything that she could not have.

Mirta makes a living in sales. She has a modest kiosk where she works every day from early in the morning. She is looking for a way to continue improving and offering her children a better quality of life.

She is asking for a loan to purchase ice cream so that she can add this product to her business, attract more customers, and continue forward with the work that she has been doing.

Observation: In this photo, only one person is shown even though it is a group loan. It wasn't possible to take a group photo during the COVID-19 pandemic.
