Kaufo'ou's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy mulberry for her tapa making and, also, to build their own tapa-making hut at her home.

Kaufo'ou's story

Kaufo'ou is a 55-year-old mother to her seven grown-ups. Her husband is a farmer and they live at their own home.

Currently, Kaufo'ou runs a tapa making business, where she joins a group of women in their village and, together, they perform the making of tapas. They make lots of tapas in different sizes and then sell them to earn income for their families.

Her two daughters help her with preparing her soft tapas and her husband just recovered her mulberry plantation, which was damaged by T.C. Harold. Kaufo'ou sells her tapas at the local market, but mainly to her relatives overseas.

COVID-19 restrictions cause many impacts in her business, including her business market, but it has been recovered now.

This loan will not only buy Kaufo'ou mulberry for her tapa making, but also will help with building their own little tapa-making hut in her backyard.

Kaufo'ou's dream and vision is for the lives of her family to be improved through the work of her hands.
