Mujeres Unidas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy bread, greens, canned goods, dairy products, fruits and vegetables, and other products to sell.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The communal bank is called Mujeres Unidas, because that's what they are: women who united so they could work together and help their families that way.

Among them it's worth mentioning Artemia, an enterprising and very hardworking person. She's married and says that she and her husband help each other and look for ways to be able to keep on improving so they can cover their household needs. She has a small grocery store where she works every day from early in the morning, and she said she looks for ways to keep on building her business.

She's requesting this loan to stock her business with bread, greens, canned goods, dairy products, fruits and vegetables, and other products to sell.

She's grateful for this opportunity to be able to be part of the group, which will be a big help to her.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo wasn't possible because of social distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
