San Roque Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy vegetables, drinks, breads, tinned foods, meat, and other products.

San Roque Group's story

The "San Roque" loan group came together when a close group of friends and neighbours, all women, joined up with a desire to do better. The women are heads of family who are looking to do better so that their loved ones do not need for anything.

One member of the group is Silvina, who makes a living making sales at her grocery shop. She works at the shop every day from early in the morning and says that, with this work, she and her husband help each other and give their children the best they can. The couple are plucky and, despite difficulties, they do not allow themselves to be defeated. They fight for their family so that they do not need for anything.

Silvina is happy with this opportunity to be a part of the loan group. The loan will be a great help in order to improve her quality of life.

Silvina is applying for this loan to buy vegetables, drinks, breads, tinned foods, meat, and other products.

Note: in the photo, only one person is shown even though this is a group loan. Taking a group photo was not possible as the group could not come together owing to COVID-19 restrictions.
