Sonia Agripina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for orders of dresses, pajamas, shorts, jeans, perfumes, creams, shampoos, costume jewelry, etc.

Sonia Agripina's story

Sonia Agripina and her family live in Portoviejo, a city that was affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016, and now by the COVID-19 pandemic. The city is rich in the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruits for domestic consumption.

Sonia Agripina sells clothing and products from the Avon and Yanbal catalogs (beauty products, cosmetics, perfumes, and accessories for women) in her home and as a street vendor. She leaves merchandise [with her customers] on credit and collects weekly.

Everyone in her family became sick with COVID-19. Thanks to God, everyone recovered. At the beginning [of the pandemic], the social isolation left her without work because of the fear of contagion and various restrictions that prevented her from going out to sell, but now she is meeting the biosecurity protocols.

This loan is to pay for orders for dresses, pajamas, shorts, jeans, perfumes, creams, shampoos, costume jewelry, etc.

Her dreams are to have her own house and for her family to continue to have good health.
