Irma Nohemi's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to provide better nutrition to her coffee trees.

Irma Nohemi's story

Irma lives in a community in the department of Jinotega, in northern Nicaragua. She has 5 children between the ages of 4 months and 17 years old. For the past 4 years, she has made a living by farming coffee.

She is requesting a loan that will allow her to maintain her 1.4 hectares of coffee. This will help her to increase her production and improve her family's life. She is sure that with the proper care, she can guarantee that her plantations will offer good yields and at at least the minimum price given by fair trade. This will allow her to get in front of this investment.

With these funds, she will purchase supplies such as calcium, zinc, boron, as well as other agricultural items. She will also pay for labor which will allow her to provide the best nutrition to her cacao trees.

This is the first loan she has received from PAC.
