El Progreso Del Peje Grupo 4 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fuel and accessories such as masks, earrings, and bracelets, among other items to sell.

El Progreso Del Peje Grupo 4 Group's story

Luisana is a determined young mother. She has two children. She and her life-partner struggle every day to provide a decent life and a good education for them. They live in a humble community, and attended school up to high school.

Luisana has a business where she buys fuel, specifically gasoline, for resale. This is the custom in the bateyes [rural communities for sugarcane workers], as they are far from the city and gas stations. It allows her to provide this service to her neighbors who have vehicles to get around, so that they don't have to go to the city to keep on with their lives.

Luisana supports her family with this business, and she covers some of their needs. She is requesting this loan mainly to buy gasoline and some accessories for sale such as masks, earrings, bracelets, and other items to maintain the service that her customers request.

Though sales had been down due to the COVID 19 pandemic, they have increased in the past two months. Her dream is to be able to finish her wood and concrete block house and be able to have a shop in order to keep making progress.

Many thanks for contributing to the business vision of El Progreso del Peje Group 4.
