Centre 322 Sampaguta Women’s Association Group's story

Maricris is 47 years old and the president of Centre 322 Sampaguta Women’s Association who helps her members earn for a living. She has been a member of NWTF for six years. She earns a living farming sugarcane. She is a business-minded person who counts every peso that comes out of her pocket. She also manages funds that NWTF trusted her to make a profit and also pay their obligation.

She knows her members in the association better because of the long years they have been together in the centers. Each member runs their own business like pig fattening, farming rice/sugarcane, general store, etc., and it’s doing great.

Maricris is requesting a loan to purchase additional sacks of fertilizer and other farm supplies. She hopes that this project will continue and more members will benefit from and help the community by encouraging them to join the NWTF, and seeing that each member is very happy counting their profit and improving their business.

She still continues to encourage other members of NWTF to join the group to improve their living.
