Caña 3 Group's story

Petronila is 22 years old, maintains a consensual union and has three children. During her childhood her family struggled financially, her parents did not have a stable income. Her mother died when she was 11.Her aunt told her about the loans that Chajulense Association of Women United for Life offered and this year she will get her fifth loan. With the first loan she bought and sold chickens. She used her second loan to invest in the purchase of chickens and, cooked and sold tamales. She used her third loan to begin sowing tomatoes, which after three months she began selling in her community. She will use this year’s loan to invest in planting cardamom.
