Caña 2 Group's story

Gilda is 28 years old. When she was 5 years old her father died and from that moment her life got complicated. She learned and began to weave when she was 8. Through weaving, she helped her mother with the family expenses.

She says that after the death of her father she went through a time of depression. For a long time she did not leave her house, she used to only go out when she went to school. However, Gilda completed the twelfth grade, and got her Teaching Degree.

This year she got her fourth loan. She invested the first two loans in the construction of the family house, because her family lived with her in-laws. With her third loan, she and her husband invested in buying a used van to transport people from their community. This year they will use her loan for a down payment for a second van, they know that this activity generates a good income.
