Asseta's story

Asseta is a mother of 6 children, 4 of whom go to school. She sells pancakes and porridge in an outskirt area of the city. She has been running this successful business for over 14 years.

She is on her sixth loan cycle with YIKRI and she has repaid her Kiva loans without any difficulties. She is applying for a new loan to buy 3 bags of pearl millet, 10 bags of sugar, cans of oil and ingredients to satisfy her customers.

She intends to use her profits to reinvest in her business and save for the well-being of her family.
