Tusimame Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy beans and fish fry.

Tusimame Group's story

Victorine is a client with the micro-finance institution Hekima and the president of the village group called "Tusimame." She is married, 51 years old, and a mother of five children, who are all in school. Her partner is a government official.

Victorine sells food in a restaurant, a business she started seven years ago with start-up funds she received from her husband. Later, she joined Hekima to support her business, which continues to evolve. With this new loan, she is going to buy beans and fish fry, which will increase her initial capital. One challenge in her business is a lack of goods.

Victorine would like to see her children continue in school and to buy a piece of land. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and their partners for their support to business owners who lack access to financial services in the context of the COVID-19 global crisis.
