A loan helped to purchase gravel and stones that will strengthen her initial capital.

Tuishi Pamoja Group's story

Georgette is a client with the MFI, Hekima, and runs the village group, "Tuishi Pamoja." She is married, 46 years old, and the mother of 10 children who are all in school. Her partner is a state agent.

She sells gravel and stone. She started this business 2 years ago with start-up funds received from her former business. Later, she joined the Hekima program to support her business, which has grown gradually.

With this new loan, she is going to purchase gravel and stones that will strengthen her initial capital. Her business's challenge is related to the impracticability of the road during the rainy seasons.

She would like her children to continue studying and to build a house.

Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support given to non-bankable business owners in the context of the global crisis linked to Covid-19. The photo is only of the leader because of Covid-19 to respect social distancing measures.
